Kay's Senior Portraits

We recently shot Kay's senior portraits. Kay has been going to Camp Cherith (in Hunt, on the southern tip of Letchworth State Park) for years. It is a place that holds a lot of happy memories for her, so when she and her mother started talking about senior portraits, there was no other place they even considered.

Even though Camp Cherith is more than an hour away from us, we were more than happy to travel so Kay could get exactly the pictures she wanted. We even got some pictures of Kay with her dog!

Here are our favorites from the day:

We started out at the massive tree at the far end of the camp:

As we made our way around the camp, we ventured out onto the dock (even though there was no lifeguard!!):

Kay's mom wanted some pictures of their dog running to Kay:

We also got some portraits of Kay with her dog:

Kay and her mom were so happy that they were able to get exactly what they wanted - which makes us happy too!

Brandon's Senior Portraits (part 2)

For Brandon's first senior portrait session, we went to the University of Rochester and the Memorial Art Gallery. We got some really great shots and had a very full day of shooting. However, there were two very specific shots that our locations just weren't right for. Lucky for him, our senior portrait pricing is very simple and fair, so Brandon decided to schedule a second session.

For Brandon's second session, we started at Colgate University. Brandon is a student, as well as a huge fan, of the organ, and Colgate's chapel has a lovely organ. The chapel was closed and the building was locked, but we begged the janitor to let us in, so we were able to get these quick shots:

Since we were already on campus, we decided to walk around and get some shots:

We then went to Genessee Valley Park and shot on the bridge:

Brandon wanted a bridge for his other specific shot: one of him jumping, High School Musical-style:

And with an artistic treatment:

We are so glad that we were able to give Brandon the exact shots that we wanted, and he was able to get a wide range of poses and backgrounds.
