We < 3 Seniors! (and here's why they < 3 us back)

Here is some information on our revolutionary senior portrait sessions:

We specialize in location shoots, so if there is a particular place that you would like to have portraits done, we will travel to that location. This is something that most seniors especially like, because they can choose places that are meaningful to them, and they get completely different backgrounds than if you went to a studio. If you know what kind of place you want, but don't have a specific location in mind, we will work with you to find the perfect place.

When you look through most yearbooks, you can tell which students went to the same studio because the backgrounds or the poses are the same. Your portraits will be completely unique because we do not take a cookie-cutter approach. We talk to you ahead of time to get an idea of what you like and, of course, the locations are completely your choice. This results in portraits that truly reflect your personality and tastes.

When it comes to pricing, we do things a little differently. Our session fees are $75 per location/day. There is also a processing fee of $125 for all portrait packages. That's it!

And here's what you get:

» Two Photographers. We want to make sure that we get the best portraits possible. Having two photographers means more photos and two distinct points of view. This is just one of the many ways we ensure the best pictures possible. In essence, you're getting two photographers for the price of one!

» Color Correction and Retouching of all final images. Every final image is digitally "cleaned" to ensure that your pictures look their absolute best!

» Select Coloring and Toning of images. As we edit your photos, we note the ones we feel would look especially nice with an effect added. This can be a select color effect, or changing the picture to black and white, or giving it a sepia tone or a different color tone. We give you both the original copy of the image and the treated one, so in the end you get even more great images. If you would like us to apply a special effect on an image that doesn't have one, we will also do that at no charge.

» CD set of ALL your final images. You will get two CDs of your final images, one with each image in low resolution and one in high resolution. Low resolution images are perfect for sharing in emails and posting on the web. High resolution images are ready to be printed, at home or by any 3rd party photo finisher.

» Photographer's Release (Copyright Waiver). This enables you to take your CD to any 3rd part photo finisher and have your photos printed any time you want.

» Contact Sheets. Contact sheets make it quick and easy for you to find the picture you want.

» Unlimited Customer Support. We are completely committed to your satisfaction. Feel free to contact us by email or phone any time before or after your event.

Rachel's Senior Portraits

We recently shot Rachel's senior portraits. She decided to shoot at her school, since it has lots of picturesque backgrounds right on the campus. We shot around the brick walls of the school, and the lovely marble stairs, as well as the gazebo and trees out back.

Annie's Senior Portraits (part 1)

We recently shot Annie's senior portraits. Annie is our lovely intern from last year, and she has literally been planning her senior portraits since she first assisted us!

Annie assisted us at Amelia's Trash The Prom Dress session, and she knew immediately that she wanted to do something similar. She also wanted photos with an urban look.

We started at Corn Hill:







We then headed over to the frisbee golf field at Monroe Community College:





Once we got some casual shots, Annie changed into her amazing prom dress:

Then it was time for the pièce de résistance, and we jumped into the pond:

Jenn's Senior Portraits (part 1)

This weekend we shot Jenn's first senior portrait session. When we met with Jenn, she told us she wanted a gritty, urban look for her shots, with lots of graffiti in the background. After some intense location scouting, we decided to shoot in the abandoned subway downtown.

We spent a fun afternoon with Jenn and her sister, exploring the old subway tunnel and admiring the beautiful graffiti in between shots. Here are just a few of the many stunning photos we got of Jenn:

Jenn has a fabulous leopard print umbrella, so we got a shot of her in the "jungle" of tall grass outside the subway:



We also got her with her sister and her zebra print umbrella:



As we were leaving, Jenn told us how happy she was, as the location was exactly what she had in mind for her shoot. She also sent us a message later that night: "Oh my gosh! I hate taking pictures but today was soo fun! Thanks for everything!"
