New Holiday Cards!
The last few weeks I have been incredibly ill with H1N1. I was much too sick to do much, so when I finally got back to working I had three requests for holiday cards from clients we've worked for this past year.
Luckily I work very efficiently, and was able to get out all three designs in plenty of time.
And as always, these designs are now available for purchase for anyone who is interested in them.
Here are the new holiday designs for 2009:
If you would like to see other designs we've created, please see our Flickr page.
If you would like to use one of our designs, please email us at perezsisters@gmail.com

Jay's Senior Portraits
The same weekend we shot Amelia's Trash the Dress session, we also shot Jay's senior portraits. Jay wanted football portraits, so we went to St. John Fisher. We shot around the campus and on their football field. Here are some of our favorites!
We started around campus:
And with a vintage color effect:
Jay's girlfriend Stephanie jumped in for a shot:
And with a color cast:
And with an artistic effect:

We then headed over to the football field. We started on the bleachers:
With a select color effect and a contrast boost, this is one of my favorites of the day:
We then went down to the field. Jay is graduating in 2010, so we went to the 10 yard line:
We got some photos of Jay being tough on the field:
Although we were having too good a time to be TOO serious:
When Jay's mother saw the finished photos, she called us just to say, “I am so impressed with Jay’s photos - they are amazing! You guys did an incredible job. We are so happy.”
If you would like to see the rest of Jay's shoot, please go to our Flickr page.
If you would like us to shoot your (or your child's) senior portraits, please email us at perezsisters@gmail.com

Amelia's Trash The Dress Session (senior portraits pt. 2)
Last fall, we shot Amelia's senior portraits. We had a second session scheduled, to be shot outdoors in the autumn leaves, but then it snowed! With our concept and our background snowed out, we had no choice but to wait until this fall.
We FINALLY shot Amelia's Trash The Dress session last weekend, at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The weather was perfect, and we were able to get some great photos. Here are our favorites from the shoot:
The photos we got were totally worth the wait!
If you would like to see the rest of Amelia's shoot, please go to our Flick page.
If you would like us to shoot your (or your child's) senior portraits, or if you would like to shoot a Trash The Dress session, please email us at perezsisters@gmail.com

Kay's Senior Portraits
We recently shot Kay's senior portraits. Kay has been going to Camp Cherith (in Hunt, on the southern tip of Letchworth State Park) for years. It is a place that holds a lot of happy memories for her, so when she and her mother started talking about senior portraits, there was no other place they even considered.
Even though Camp Cherith is more than an hour away from us, we were more than happy to travel so Kay could get exactly the pictures she wanted. We even got some pictures of Kay with her dog!
Here are our favorites from the day:
We started out at the massive tree at the far end of the camp:
As we made our way around the camp, we ventured out onto the dock (even though there was no lifeguard!!):
