Dana's Trash The Dress Session

We recently were contacted by an old client with a really fun request. We've had a lot of fun shooting with Dana in the past, so we were thrilled when she decided she wanted Trash the Dress portraits. Dana wanted to trash her prom dress, which for a limited time, we are offering FREE when you buy a senior portrait package with us!

We went to Canandaigua Lake for some beautiful sunset pictures. Here are a few of our favorites:

Amelia's Trash The Dress Session (senior portraits pt. 2)

Last fall, we shot Amelia's senior portraits. We had a second session scheduled, to be shot outdoors in the autumn leaves, but then it snowed! With our concept and our background snowed out, we had no choice but to wait until this fall.

We FINALLY shot Amelia's Trash The Dress session last weekend, at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The weather was perfect, and we were able to get some great photos. Here are our favorites from the shoot:

Pre-Prom Portraits in the Park 2009

Both Melinda and I have been swamped as of late with juggling work and finishing up the school year. But one thing we had to make time for was our annual Pre-Prom Portraits in the Park!

Like last year, we did portraits in the park before the prom, to give the kids from The Charles Finney school (where I teach) something that was different than the typical pictures you get at the prom. This year we chose Genesee Valley Park because it was close to the prom venue.

Pre-Prom Portraits in the Park 2008

The Charles Finney school, where I teach, recently held its prom. Some of my students wanted portraits beforehand, something that was different than the typical pictures you get at the prom. We decided the Maplewood Rose Garden was an ideal location, because of its variety.
