Brandon's Senior Portraits (part 2)

For Brandon's first senior portrait session, we went to the University of Rochester and the Memorial Art Gallery. We got some really great shots and had a very full day of shooting. However, there were two very specific shots that our locations just weren't right for. Lucky for him, our senior portrait pricing is very simple and fair, so Brandon decided to schedule a second session.

For Brandon's second session, we started at Colgate University. Brandon is a student, as well as a huge fan, of the organ, and Colgate's chapel has a lovely organ. The chapel was closed and the building was locked, but we begged the janitor to let us in, so we were able to get these quick shots:

And with an artistic treatment:

Since we were already on campus, we decided to walk around and get some shots:

We then went to Genessee Valley Park and shot on the bridge:

Brandon wanted a bridge for his other specific shot: one of him jumping, High School Musical-style:

And with an artistic treatment:

We are so glad that we were able to give Brandon the exact shots that we wanted, and he was able to get a wide range of poses and backgrounds.

Alexis' Senior Portraits (part 1)

Alexis is another one of our seniors who took full advantage of our unique senior pricing and booked two locations. For our first shoot, she decided to go to Nazareth AND St. John Fisher college. Nazareth has a lot of red brick, and Fisher has white, and Alexis picked the perfect outfit to do with each different look. Here are some of our favorites:

We started at Nazareth:

We then headed over to St. John Fisher:

Our last stop was the woods on East River Road, where we ran into a family of deer, and took these great shots:

We had a great day, and got some really lovely photos! Stay tuned for our second session with Alexis later!

Hannah's Senior Portraits

This past weekend we shot our first senior portrait session of the season, with Hannah. When we met with Hannah and her mother, they told us they wanted urban, artsy, edgy photos. We chose some great locations scattered throughout the city, and here are some of our favorites:

We started at High Falls:

This photo looked great with an artistic treatment:

As we were leaving, we noticed a really great alley with red brick on one side and an overgrowth of trees on the other. Since all of our senior portrait sessions come with unlimited outfit changes, Hannah changed into a bright blue shirt. I love how all the colors just pop off each other:

We added a vintage color affect to this photo:

We then headed to the other side of the High Falls:

We then moved on to Manhattan Square Park:

We finished off the day at an access ramp to the highway. These are by far my favorite shots!

We arranged our lights so we could get some dramatic shadows on the wall:

This photo was PERFECT for our artistic treatment:

We had a great time, got some great shots, and it didn't even rain! It was a wonderful start to a great new senior portrait season!
